English Language Lab with 20 PCs and a projector was set up on 12 July 2018 in CRPF Public School , Rohini as a part of innovative teaching strategy.

Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in a mixed ability environment can be quite a challenge for the ESL teacher. Juggling between students from a plethora of backgrounds and the regional influences on their language can be a challenging task for any language teacher. Ensuring fluency in the target language, accurate pronunciation and evolution of listening skills is an everyday challenge in front of a language teacher.

The Language Lab set up at CRPF Public School, Rohini is just the ladder to surmount this humongous task. There's ample teaching material to enhance the learners' speaking and listening skills. The rich content of the language lab not only allows learners to practice their skills, but also provides good teaching material for various competitive examinations . Language lab sessions give students the chance to take their enhance their oratory as well as conversation skills in a semi-natural environment.The learners are provided with a bank of vocabulary or expressions best suited to a relevant topic.

The methodology is a blend of Instructor Led Training (ILT) with a Computer Based Training (CBT), practice and evaluation. The sessions are designed so that the course follows a parallel-structure in which concepts are introduced in the ILT session, and reinforced with practice and an innovative approach to learning in the CBT session.

This programme is being executed by teachers for primary and middle classes . The task is designed and streamlined as per the age and requirement of the students.It progresses through eight levels of advancement. Each module comprises of 40 hours of intense language training, alternating between ILT and CBT sessions.
