The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the largest nationwide organization that imparts and virtues of discipline, selflessness, learn spirit and leadership to the youth of our country. Our school got enrolled for NCC girls wing in 2002 with 50 cadets. Now we have more than 100 cadets enrolled. There are camp activities which include Drill, Shooting, Physical Fitness Map reading, First Aid, Firing. At camp, young cadets get the thrill and joy of outdoor and community living. The camp training also assist in developing team work, qualities of character and leadership, self-confidence and self reliance. Our cadets participate in Republic Day Camp too. The camp is held ever year in the month of January at Garison Parade Ground, Delhi cantt. During the camp, cadets participate in the Prime Minister’s Rally. They also put up displays highlighting various NCC activities and cultural programs bringing a sense of national integration amongst the youth of our country.

The National Cadets Corps has come long way from its modest beginning. Our school got enrolled for NCC Boys wing too with 50 cadets. Armed with their motto, cadets are steadily marching forward to meet the leadership challenge of the twenty first century.

 

CRPF Public school have many activities. Dance is one of them. School provides an opportunities or platform to express the hidden talents of the students in form of Dance and Music. School train the students in folk dances of India like Rajasthani, Gujrati, Ghoomar, Dandia, Onam, Naga, Bhangra etc. Their are arrangements to teach classical dance forms of India like Manipuri, Mohiniattam, Kathakali, Odisi, Kuchipudi. On Annual Day the school presents dance drama  (theme ballet) which is composed, directed and written by the faculty of school.

 

The Department of Music consists of Vocal music and instrumental music. It is a been taught regularly as a subject upto VIII and in Work Experience and an education from Class IX to XII. Overall the music   teaching in school is based on Indian Classical music method.  The main aim is to trained students in Vocal and Instruments to learn, perform and understand the subject thoroughly. It gives them a constructive way to express themselves through the language of Music.

In Vocal we teach from school prayers, classical Raga’s as per syllabus, patriotic songs, Bhajans etc. for school assembly, various special assemblies, functions and mainly on Annual day.  Also in instruments we teach from Indian Classical composition to folk and different kind of music from Japan, China, Africa, Brazil, Spain, Indonesia, Arabia etc.  Overall the music in school is to make students more thoughtful and constructive in thinking and approach.
